About Philia

Brand

An elegant bag for people who love having their dog by their side — at work, out for a drink, or around the city during the weekend.
Philia bags are designed for your dog too: inside, they hold waste bags, a bowl, treats, and a water bottle with fresh water.

Four essentials items, thoughtfully integrated without compromising your style.
A bag designed for both of you.

The Idea

We wanted to go out for dinner with our dog without renouncing the right bag to wear. But we couldn't find anything that truly combined both worlds. On one side, elegant bags. On the other one, dog accessories. Never together in a single product.

Waste bags in one pocket, treats in another, and a bag that quickly lost its shape. The next evening, we started sketching our idea: a bag designed for life with your dog, without compromising on style or practicality.

Philia was not born from market research.

It was born from a personal need.

The Idea

The Philia Woman

She lives in the city — Milan, Paris, Madrid, Berlin, London. She works, meets friends, and enjoys her daily rituals. Her style is refined and effortless, never seeking attention.

She follows trends with her own sense of taste. She chooses them, interprets them, and makes them her own. She dresses to feel good, not to be noticed.

Her dog is always by her side. Not just part of her day, but part of her life. She takes him to dinner, for drinks, and around the city. She does not give up elegance to bring him along, and she does not leave him behind to feel elegant.

She wants both.

At the same time.

Designed in Italy

From its silhouette to the smallest detail, every aspect of the bag was designed in Italy.
The design is an exclusive Philia creation, officially registered with the Italian Patent and Trademark Office. Not as a marketing statement, but as a way to protect the originality of the project.
What you carry on your shoulder is the result of that work.
The rest is taken care of by the bag.

Born from Our Own Need

We work around a table. On it, there are sketches, leather samples, and prototypes. Beside it, a chair that is almost always occupied by Pepe.
Pepe is a nine-year-old poodle and has been part of our family for seven years. He is the reason Philia exists.
We wanted products that could fit naturally into our lives with him — pieces that felt elegant enough for the city, yet practical enough for everyday moments together. We looked for them, but never found exactly what we had in mind.
So we started designing our own.
Pepe, without knowing it, was there through every sketch, every sample, and every prototype.
The studio is small. A table, a chair, a dog.
Nothing more than what is truly needed.
